Outreach
Educating the public and raising awareness of the fiber arts is a primary focus of our guild. To this end, we set up demonstrations at schools, events and festivals where members volunteer to demonstrate weaving, spinning, knitting, and/or other fiber skills. These events often provide an opportunity for members to sell their finished pieces as well, while educating the public about the value of the fiber arts.
- Bluemont Fair
